I’m not the biggest fan of the Denver Nuggets. Don’t get me wrong, they are a talented group of individuals. Nikola Jokic is the leagues best center hands down. Yes over Joel Embiid. He spreads the floor with his shooting abilities and can make plays with his passing. This makes him one of the league’s best offensive threat. But he does have some issue on the defensive end since he’s slow footed. Jamal Murray, as I always said, isn’t the most consistent player. One night he can give you 30 and the next night give you 15 on 25% shooting. He isn’t exactly my favorite type of player. But he does have heart and gives effort, I give him that. Michael Porter Jr. is a solid young player who I look forward to seeing him grow in the league. They have a great veteran in Paul Millsap and a good defensive player in Jerami Grant. This team is solid but when compared to the Clippers on paper, the Nuggets had no chance. But they proved me wrong and 90% of the world wrong. The Clippers were the favorites of the series and being up 3-1, everyone thought it was a wrap. The Nuggets took each game one by one and crawled out of it. I owe my third apology of this NBA Playoffs to the Nuggets and boy I am scared of what y’all will do to my Lakers.

Lakers Vs. Nuggets

I am not allowed to bad mouth the Nuggets because they proved me wrong again and again. As much as I want the Lakers to win, I am not doubting the Nuggets. The difference between the Lakers and Clippers is that the Lakers have someone who can check Jokic. That’s Anthony Davis. Jokic isn’t going to be dropping usual monster stat line without having to work for it. Jamal Murray, please don’t go on your hot streak in this series. And Lebron, please just work your magic and bring us home to the Finals.

Heat Vs Celtics

Heat in 4. I said it before and I’ll say it again. The Miami Heat is going to the NBA Final. No Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kemba Walker, and Marcus Smart is going to stop them. I love the Celtics, but they are too young. No player on that team has any real Playoff experience. Yes they did took the Cavs to game 7 in 2018, but got near swept by the Bucks last year. Plus they were under different leadership. The Heat is led by Jimmy Butler who has a great record for bringing the team he is on further in the playoffs. He brought the Timberwolves to the Playoffs when they were, and still are, struggling. He brought the 76ers to game 7 against last year’s champs, the Toronto Raptors. Not to mention they have great veterans in Andre Iguodala and Goran Dragic. With the series at 2-0 … I say it’s a sweep. But if the Nuggets taught me anything, is that I can’t count any team out.

We appreciate y’all for letting us be a part of your Break Time.

Signing off, JT
