Smart plugs are an amazing addition to your home tech. If you are going to be out for the day into the night, then the smart plugs are a smart addition. My favorite choice on the market thus far is the KASA TP-LINK HS105 Smart Mini which is the one I am currently using. There has been no interruptions thus far. It has a simple user interface in the app; it is easy to add new devices. It creates a simple touch of a button environment to turn on whatever it is you wish to use.

Uses Across the House

My main use for the Smart Plug is to turn on and off my lamp when I am out during the night. It is also a great way to illuminate your house to give the look that someone is at home…even when no one is. This can be a simple layer of defense against home robberies.

You can also use it to turn on your coffee maker in the morning to create your absolutely necessary Cup of Joe in the morning. Just blend the coffee beans at night and prep the water before you head to bed. Then in the morning, roll over on your bed, grab your phone, open the app, and turn on the smart plug. Brush your teeth and get the day ready and your Cup of Joe will be ready.

Whatever the needs are, the smart plug will be able to simplify your life and make things more efficient. By using technology, you will be able to make your days smoother and easier from your phone (which most of us have on ourselves on a constant basis). Give it a try, and I will continue to update this blog as I try new smart plugs to let you know my unbias review. But until next time…

We appreciate y’all for letting us be a part of your Break Time.
